This handcrafted kuripe is a one-of-a-kind bamboo rapé self-applicator featuring a natural labradorite centre stone. Each piece is individually made using bamboo and carefully selected materials, creating a functional tool that is also a small work of art.
The sculpted body is finished in deep blue-green tones that complement the shifting colours of the labradorite stone. When viewed from different angles, the stone reveals flashes of blue and green, giving the piece a subtle sense of movement and depth.
Small metal accents arranged around the stone create a structured, grid-like detail that frames the labradorite while keeping the overall design clean and balanced.
Natural bamboo forms the structure of the kuripe, keeping the piece lightweight while providing a durable base for the sculpted body and stone setting.
Kuripes are traditionally used as self-applicators for rapé (hapé), a finely powdered sacred tobacco used in various Amazonian traditions. This piece is offered simply as a handcrafted tool made with respect for those traditions.
Because each kuripe is handmade and uses natural stone, variations in colour and flash are part of the character of the piece.
